Suggested Naming Conventions for CWS Files/Activities

YearMonth-Document Abbreviation-PWSID-EntryPointName-Version # 

Example: 202504-MOR-01234-Well1-2 

  • YearMonth should reflect the Month and Year that the file pertains to, not necessarily the submitted date of the file. 

  • If files were submitted via email, the email must be uploaded to the activity as General Correspondence and the Month and Year must match the documents enclosed in the email.

  • EntryPointName and Version# are not applicable in all situations.
