The MiEHDWIS team is excited to deliver the 3.1 minor release of MiEHDWIS on September 30, 2021. This minor release is packed with exciting financial-related features for the Campgrounds program area (including a few bug fixes for other program areas that leverage MiCaRS) and some general bug fixes and enhancements. More specifically, the release is being rolled out to support the Campground Annual License Renewal process, which kicks off mid-October.

Campgrounds

Annual License Renewal Process

  • A sequence of processes that guides the program staff through the process of evaluating applicable license renewals, generating fees, and producing annual license packets and invoices that are sent to Campground owners.

Manual Fee Management

  • ​​​​​​​The ability to manually create and adjust fees for Campground entities.

Invoice Management

  • The ability to view MiCaRS invoices generated from MiEHDWIS and apply (link) payments to them.

Community Water Supply

PWS Information

  • View inactive water supplies in MiEHDWIS and track when their status changes to active or proposed. Also, remove water supplies from MiEHDWIS if they have been deleted from SDWIS.

General Enhancements

Linking Payments

  • The system now supports applying multiple payments to one invoice.

Waiving Delinquency Fees

  • The ability to waive delinquency fees, from within MiEHDWIS, on manually created invoices.

New Workflow Functions

  • The ability to control more aspects of an activity (workflow), including generating notifications to workgroups, enforcing billable customers (for Campgrounds), triggering bulk processes, and validating activity modifiers (e.g., New, Renewal, etc.).

Bug Fixes

  • General bug fixes to Contact Management; Sample Site Plans; Object Drawer Features; Templates; Financials; Maintenance Screens; OWM Entity and Request Activity Management; and Advanced Searching.
