Release 2.0
We are excited to deliver the next iteration of MiEHDWIS (“Eddy”). Release 2.0 , which was implemented on February 22nd 2021, builds upon the features delivered with the September, October, and December releases, as well as introduces more functionality for the Community Water Supply program area. Although classified as a major release, this release introduces functionality on par with a smaller, minor release.
This release contains numerous enhancements to the MiEHDWIS system, most notably:
Campground Enhancements. Multiple improvements to the permit/license process to add more information to the activity conditions tab, automatically set effective date for a campground licenses updated through the bulk process, enhancing various campground overview pages, and introducing the ability to bulk create inspection activities.
Contact Enhancements. The ability to maintain and search by contact categories.
Community Water Supply (CWS) Entity Management. Allow core SDWIS contacts to be displayed on a Public Water Supply record and other entity management overview enhancements; improvements to how data is synchronized between MiEHDWIS and SDWIS; and addressed some bugs in the SDWIS counts/records being displayed on the Spotlight page.
General Application Enhancements. Allow profile avatar images to be displayed in the notes, tasks, and action history object drawer menus.
Septage Enhancements. Automatically transition an entity and it’s detail records (i.e., vehicles, land application sites, etc.) when the hauler’s status changes; updates to the licensing and inspection workflows.
Technical Enhancements. Multiple enhancements to support a more granular security model, to address process/logging performance, and general system bug fixes.
