The MiEHDWIS team is excited to deliver the 8.0 release of MiEHDWIS on August 4, 2022. Among its numerous system/bug enhancements to a variety of components, this release enhances the way you search for activities and tasks, includes additional letter template variables to support the new CWS Construction Permit process, and completes the remaining work to support the new Local Health Department (LHD) maintenance functionality.

CWS

CWS Construction Permits Letter Template Variables. This release contains all the necessary building blocks to produce a generated document construction permit artifact.

General Enhancements

Activity and Task Advanced Searching. You can now set up Saved Searches to reference the current logged in user or the logged in user’s associated workgroups. This makes it easier to create and distribute a Saved Search across multiple people in the same workgroup or even multiple people who support different districts or coverage areas.

Dynamic Forms Enhancements. Technical enhancements to improve the performance of creating and publishing online, dynamic forms.

General Search Enhancements. Activities and other Reference Numbers now sort numerically on their identification number, which makes it easier to find those artifacts that were newly created.

Local Health Department (LHD) Maintenance. This release completes functionality that supports the new LHD maintenance tables, making it easy to manage the association between an LHD, its offices, and the personnel and other contacts who support those offices in one global spot.

Updated Customer Portal Experience. Improvements to the customer portal to make it easier for a user to navigate their active and open work and file new requests.

UTC Time Zone Fixes. Multiple fixes were introduced to address UTC time zone offsets to ensure activity, task, and file dates calculate accurately for our Michigan time zone.
