Release 1.2
We are excited to deliver the next iteration of MiEHDWIS (“Eddy”). Release 1.2, which was implemented on December 17th, 2020, builds upon the features delivered with the September and October releases, as well as introduces functionality for the Septage program area. Although classified as a minor release, this release introduces functionality on par with a larger, major release.
Many of the enhancements aim to improve upon the Campgrounds entity management experience, including improvements to the licensing and permitting activities; introduces a direct connection with SDWIS for Public Water Supply data; implements the Septage Hauler and Septage Waste Receiving Facility (SWRF) entity types, complete with licensing, permitting, and inspection activities; and leverages the Michigan Cashiering and Receivable System (MiCaRS) to view, generate, and manage invoices and payments for Septage entities.
The list below highlights other enhancements included in the release.
Users can manage Septage program area entities (Haulers and SWRFs) in the system, including all associations with vehicles, land application sites, and waste storage facilities. MiEHDWIS supports licensing, permitting, and inspections for Septage Haulers.
Septage program area users can view, generate, and apply payments to invoices for Septage Haulers using the MiCaRS interface.
Multiple bulk processes were implemented to support the annual Septage Bulk Invoicing process.
Other bulk processes were created to support bulk generation of Campground license documents that can be issued to Local Health Departments (LHDs).
The direct connection to SDWIS allows a CWS user to view open notices, deficiencies, and violations for Public Water Supplies using the MiEHDWIS Spotlight portal.
Systemwide enhancements were made to address the general flow of navigating the application and to address prioritized bugs.
