How do I bulk transition several activities to a different status?
This process shows users how to change multiple Activities statuses of the same Entity Type (e.g., Campground, Septage Hauler, etc.) and Activity Status (e.g., In Process, Waiting on Applicant, etc.) to other states at one time. This process is available on the Activity Search screen only.
The search results must all have the same Entity Type, Activity Type and Activity Status or the user will receive a Bulk Transition Error.
Click on Activities.
Enter the desired search criteria.
Make sure you include the following search fields.
Entity Type
Activity Type
Activity Status
Add enough Search Fields to limit your search results to activities you really want to transition. You may want to include fields like, Subdistrict or User or County to narrow the list to your work (you don’t want to accidently transition others work).
Click Search and the Search Results page appears.
Click Actions.
Click Bulk Transition and the Bulk Transition pop-up modal appears.
Choose the status you want to change the activities to from the search results.
Click Submit.
Process is complete when “Process has been successfully added to the queue” appears.
Verify change by performing a search using the new Activity Status.
Bulk processes take time. If transitioning many activities together; it may take a little time for the system to perform the transition.
