How do I create a new entity?

Brand new entities will need to be created in MiEHDWIS prior to submitting a construction permit application. You will need to first create a new entity following the instructions below. For instructions on submitting a campground or pool construction permit application, see How do I upload a campground construction permit application? or How do I upload a swimming pool construction permit application?
A list of all entities that you are associated with are listed on your dashboard under the Entities card. If you wish to create a new entity, follow the instructions below:
Scroll down to the bottom of your Dashboard to the Entities card and click on the Create button.
Choose the appropriate entity type.
Complete the required information for the new entity. This could include entity name, address, and more entity-specific information.
Click Save.
You may be asked to validate your address. Click Continue.
The new entity will be created and will be listed on the Entities card.
