There are three avenues for an external user to submit a New or Modified Campground Construction Permit application and plans. Most steps are necessary for each mode of submission, however; there are variables described below.

Submittal via Portal, Email, or Mail

  1. Program Administrator Receives Submission.

    1. A notification is shown in MiEHDWIS if it is submitted in MiEHDWIS.

  2. Download and View application.

  3. Create Campground Entity (new only).

    1. Create owner contact.

    2. Link LHD contact.

    3. Link EGLE engineer.

  4. Create Permit Activity.

    1. If documents are received outside of MiEHDWIS, upload application and plans to the Files drawer of the Permit Activity that was created.

    2. If documents are submitted in MiEHDWIS, link documents to Permit Activity from the Submission Queue (if submitter did not link) or Entity Files drawer (if submitter linked to specific entity).

    3. If applicant incorrectly linked to the wrong entity, unlink and transition Activity to Application Received

  5. Generate Application Received Letter.

  6. Make corrections to letter and upload to MiEHDWIS.

  7. Transition Activity to Plan Review

  8. Assign engineer.

  9.  Engineer enters:

    1. Permit details

    2. Construction totals

    3. Conditions

  10. Transition Activity to Draft Permit

  11.  Engineer will generate Permit and assign to Program Administrator.

  12.  Administrator will receive an Assignment Notification.

  13.  Transition to Process Permit

  14.  Make corrections to the permit and re-upload.

  15.  Download Permit.

  16.  Send Permit.

  17.  Transition Activity to Active

Withdrawn Applications

  1. When a user wants to withdraw an application without payment, transition the Permit Activity to Withdrawn.
