Note

Before requesting a Certifier agreement, you must have already requested access to MiEHDWIS through MiLogin for Business and have been approved by a MiEHDWIS System Administrator.

  1. Log into MiLogin for Business.

  2. Click Create Work Item.

  3. Choose the Entity Type of Community Water Supply.

  4. Choose the Request Category of User Role Request.

  5. Choose the Request Type of Certifier Request.

  6. Then, fill in the Entity (water supply) for which you are requesting to be a Certifier.

  7. Click Create.

  8. At this time, the DWEHD District Engineer will verify the requestor’s relationship to the water supply.

  9. Once verified by the Engineer, the Administrative Contact for the supply will receive an email notification from the State of Michigan asking for electronic signatures using eSignature Solutions (OneSpan). The Administrative Contact will need to click and follow the prompts, which will lead them through the document signing process. Once the Administrative Contact has completed signing, an email notification will go to the requestor who will then follow the same process to sign.

  10. Upon receiving the signed version back from OneSpan, DWEHD staff will update the Certifier Request Activity, upload the signed Certifier Agreement to the Activity, and assign the Certifier as a Contributor on the Entity (water supply).

  11. OneSpan automatically sends the Certifier Agreement back to EGLE. DO NOT print off and send a copy back to EGLE. We cannot accept scanned copies.
