  4. Choose the Request Type of Certifier Request.

  5. Then, fill in the Entity (water supply) for which you are requesting to be a Certifier.

  6. Click Create.

  7. At this time, the DWEHD District Engineer will verify the requestor’s relationship to the water supply.

  8. Once verified by the Engineer, the Certifier Administrative Contact for the supply will receive an email notification from the State of Michigan asking for electronic signatures using eSignature Solutions (OneSpan. Please ). The Administrative Contact will need to click and follow the prompts, which will lead you them through the document signing process. Once the Certifier Administrative Contact has completed signing, an email notification will go to the Administrative Contact requestor who will then follow the same process to sign.

  9. Upon receiving the signed version back from OneSpan, DWEHD staff will update the Certifier Request Activity, upload the signed Certifier Agreement to the Activity, and assign the Certifier as a Contributor on the Entity (water supply).

  10. OneSpan automatically sends the Certifier Agreement back to EGLE. DO NOT print off and send a copy back to EGLE. We cannot accept scanned copies.
