What is available to me on my dashboard?
If you work for a local health department, be sure to view, “What is available to me on my dashboard as a local health department user?”
All other users should follow this guide to see what is available to you on the dashboard.
Welcome
The Welcome widget will include an introduction into what you can find in MiEHDWIS. It will also be a place where important information (such as updates, a link to the help desk, reminders, and more).
Open Invoices
This space allows you to see any open invoice for your entities that you are the billable customer on. The invoice can be downloaded and viewed. There is also the ability to toggle to see closed invoices as well as open invoices.
My Messages on Open Activities
If you send a message to EGLE staff on an activity, you will see the response show up right on your dashboard. You can filter these messages based on those older than 14 days and export the messages into an Excel file.
Open Tasks
All tasks assigned to you will show up on this widget. Clicking on the task will take you to the activity overview of that task. You can also filter the tasks based on who they are assigned to and the type of activity. You can also sort these tasks based on activity ID, task due date, activity type, and who the task is assigned to.
Open Activities
All of your open activities will show up in this widget. You now have the ability to filter these activities on a variety of fields, as well as export the list of activities into a spreadsheet. As before, the needs attention icon appears when a task needs to be completed on the activity.
Contact Information
If you have an associated contact in MiEHDWIS, your contact information will appear here. Contacts do not equate to having a user account in MiEHDWIS. If contact information is listed and is incorrect, you will have the ability to update that information here by clicking the pencil icon.
Entities
A list of entities associated to you are listed on this widget. If a new entity needs to be created (ex: new construction of a campground), you can click the Create button. For information on how to create an entity, visit “How do I create a new entity?”. This piece of functionality is not available for new public water supplies.
