Temporary Campgrounds for Local Health Departments
The Temporary Campground License process is different than the process for a Standard Campground.
The external user creates the license application, and after making their payment to the state, the activity is directly transitioned to the Local Health Department.
Locating Temporary Campground Applications
Option 1: Notifications
When a Temporary Campground Application has been submitted by an external user, a notification will be sent to the members of that Local Health Department.
An icon will appear over your user Icon in the upper right-hand corner of MiEHDWIS.
Select on your username for a dropdown menu.
Select Notifications.
A screen will show all your new notifications.
It is strongly recommended to have your notification emailed to you. You can review your notification methods at Choosing my Notification Method.
Option 2: Using the Temporary Campground Dashboard
Select Temporary Campgrounds at the top of your Dashboard.
Review the Open Inspection Activities card.
Once the Temporary Campground License has expired, post-event, the activity will automatically remove itself from your Open Inspection Activities card.
Activities with the Inspection Requested status are ready for Local Health Department review.
Please Note: Activities that are in the Fill Out Form status or the Waiting for Payment Status are NOT ready for review.
Select the Activity ID link to access the license application.
