Creating a Temporary Campground
The first time you log into MiEHDWIS you will land on the Activity Menu - Create Activity Page. Please start at step 2.
If you have used MiEHDWIS before, or you have previously submitted a Temporary Campground License application in MiEHDWIS you will be taken to the Dashboard page. Please start at step 1.
On the Dashboard, select the Create Activity button, on the Activity Menu card.
Locate the Temporary Campgrounds entity card.
Entity types are listed in alphabetical order.
Select the Temporary Campgrounds hyperlink within card.
On the Activity Type page, select Temporary Campground License.
A new page will open. Enter the general information about your event.
Enter the following information:
Event name
Event description (optional)
Event county location
Selecting the county auto-populates the Event LHD Office.
Event LHD (Local Health Department) office
Event location address
Event location city
Event location state
Event location zip code
Please note: You must create a new Temporary Campground for each event. Even for recurring events, any previous licenses expire at the end of the event.
Provide the Event Organizer Information.
Provide the following details:
Organizer name
Organizer phone number
Organizer email address
Organizer billing address
Organizer billing city
Organizer billing state
Organizer billing zip code
Organizer billing country
Please note: You will pay your state license fees directly through MiEHDWIS. Any Local Health Department fees will be paid directly to the Local Health Department before the inspection.
When completed click the + Create button.
Before continuing, you will need to validate your addresses.
Select Continue.
A new page called the Activity Overview will appear. You have successfully created your Temporary Campground.
