MiEHDWIS Monthly Progress Update

Release 18 was successfully completed on May 8th.
While using the system, if you come across any issues or have questions, please submit a help desk ticket.

Upcoming Release: Release 19 - Timeline & Key Features
Believe it or not, even though we just had Release 18, Release 19 materials are already well underway.
Here’s a brief update on the release schedule and what you can anticipate:
Release Date: Mid to late August 2025
Release Status: Development is underway. Sprints are currently testing software, and this week we will be having the last R-19 JAD (Joint Application Development) Meeting.

Below are some of our new and updated internal knowledge base articles.
Please note, some internal KBAs are still being updated to reflect the R18 roll out. Thank you for your patience as we continue to improve our materials.

Dashboard Management - How to set a default and organize your dashboards.

R-18 Training Videos - This KBA holds all the current R-18 training videos.
Swimming Pool Change in Ownership - Internal users' process of changing swimming pool owners.
Campground Change in Ownership - Internal users' process of changing campground owners.
Release 18.0 - Need a rundown of what happened in Release 18? This KBA covers completed areas and a list of tickets, bugs, and stories completed in Release 18.
CWS Spotlight - Updated CWS spotlight KBA includes information about text filtering and more details about the spotlight page information.
Contributor Roles that are Available for External Users - Need guidance on the different roles external users can have? This KBA is a concise review of those roles.
Processing a Swimming Pool Construction Permit - Internal users' process of completing a Swimming Pool construction permit.

Release 18 introduced new external users' Knowledge Base Articles.
Please feel free to review these articles and see how external users are using the system.
The articles located in the expander are either new or updated for R18.

Configuration and Integration Wins
In truth, the release was a massive configuration win. The three-person configuration team brought to life or updated a good number of workflows.

- Updated Swimming Pool Construction Permit - Payments now made in MiEHDWIS
- Updated Swimming Pool Licenses - Payments now made in MiEHDWIS
- Campground Change of Ownership - Payments now made in MiEHDWIS
- Updated Campground Construction Permit - Payments now made in MiEHDWIS
- Updated Campground Licenses - Payments now made in MiEHDWIS
They have also successfully removed “Submit a File” for both Campgrounds and Swimming Pools.

An additional thank you to everyone who answered questions, provided perspective and guidance on these workflows, and took the time out of their busy days to attend meetings and end-to-ends to help get these workflows over the finish line.

MiEHDWIS Weekly Open Office Hours
UPDATED Date & Time: Every OTHER Friday during the summer (as needed), 10-10:30 am
Location/Platform: Teams - A new invitation will coming soon.
Details: Open office opportunity for staff to discuss MiEHDWIS and ask questions with the project team. This is an informal session with no planned agenda. Occasionally, this meeting will be used to demonstrate new release features. Attendance is strongly encouraged!
Have a question? Add it to the Open Office Whiteboard so we can address it first on Fridays.
CWS MiEHDWIS External User Open Office Hours
Date & Time: May 21st, 2025 - 11 am.
Location/Platform: Virtual Platform
Details: This training is for External CWS users. This is a monthly training, and it will cover some of the most impactful changes for external CWS users. Please feel free to promote this training to any external CWS users. MiEHDWIS CWS External User Training - Registration
Save the Date - June MiEHDWIS Refresher
Date & Time: TBD - Mid June

Details: This is the second session of four-part MiEHDWIS Refresher courses. This training is for all new DWEHD staff that interact with MiEHDWIS.
This training is also appropriate for employees who feel less comfortable using the software. We will be covering the following topics:Navigating MiEHDWIS basics
How to use the search features
Where and how to get MiEHDWIS help
Be sure to mark your calendars for these trainings and promote them to your teammates and any external CWS users.

What is the process for requesting new training materials?: If you notice that a training material is missing, a KBA needs to be updated, or you would like to request a team or small group training session, please feel free to submit a “Request Training Materials” ticket with the Internal Help Desk.
Please let us know a description of what is needed and someone will reach out to your shortly after you’ve submitted your ticket.Who are the SMEs? - This KBA is a refresher list of who is currently an SME (Subject Matter Expert).
