Processing Consumer Confidence Reports (CCRs) and CCR Certificates
Navigate to your CCR related searches on your Personal Dashboard(s).
If you need to set up your dashboard, please visit Dashboard for CCRs and CCR Certs.
CCR activities with the status and resolution of Submitted/Preliminary Review Requested are submissions where the external user is requesting a preliminary/draft review of the submission. CCRs with an activity status of Submitted with no activity resolution are considered final.
Pick an activity that you would like to review and navigate to the activity Overview.
Submitted activities are assigned to the Consumer Confidence Report Analyst Workgroup, keep the workgroup assignment, but select the Assigned to Individual field to choose yourself from the the list of users in the CCR Analyst Workgroup.
This process will retain the Workgroup which will make tracking process simpler - Please make sure you are retaining the workgroup.
Once the activity is assigned to an individual and the CCR Analyst Workgroup, click Transition, Begin Review.
A popup will appear with a check box asking you to confirm that the activity has been assigned to someone. Check the box and select Begin Review.
When a certifier is requesting Preliminary Review, add the Activity Type Modifier of Preliminary Review in the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) Details Tab.
The activity status will update to EGLE Review.
Review the activity documents via the Files drawer or the Linked Documents tab.
If CCR is acceptable and no revisions are needed, select the Accepted/Completed Transition.
This will closed the activity and the status will update to Accepted/Completed.
If more information is needed, there are two Transition options to use depending on if the water supply has a Certifier within MiEHDWIS.
Use More Information Needed, if the water supply has a Certifier. The status of the activity will update to Waiting on Applicant.
Navigate to the Portal Collaboration tab to communicate revisions or questions in the Messages card. Optional: you can edit or add tasks vs the Tasks card.
Use Email Supply for More Information, if the supply doesn’t have a Certifier in MiEHDWIS. The status of the activity will update to More Information Needed.
After transitioning the activity, contact the water supply outside of MiEHDWIS, via email/phone to communicate the necessary revisions.
Be sure to upload your email correspondence to the Files drawer and/or add phone call notes to the Notes drawer on the activity.
When the water supply responds outside of MiEHDWIS, upload the revisions/correspondence, and transition the activity back to EGLE Review, but selecting Information Provided by email (no certifier available).
If deficiencies are found during final review:
Select the Transition option, Deficiencies Found. The activity status will update to Deficient.
From the Workflow Step Deficiency Review, transition to one of the following:
Accepted/Completed
This option will update the status and resolution of the activity to Accepted/Completed.
Deficiencies MUST be fixed this year
This will transition will automatically assign the activity to the Certifier and create a Task in the Portal Collaboration.
If the supply has no certifier, then select the NO Certifier--Email Supply for More Information Transition.
Communicate with Certifier regarding changes that need to be corrected this year. There are a couple options available for communication:
Navigate to the Portal Collaboration tab and edit/add a Task that is assigned to the certifier with clarity on the deficiencies
Send a message via Messages to user to inform them of issues and corrections
Upload a document via the Files drawer, so the water supply can download and review the document from the EGLE Attachments card of he portal.
Create Violation Activity
This option will automatically create a separate linked Violation Notice activity. You must still transition the CCR activity to an appropriate accepted end state, like Accepted with Deficiencies.

Email Supply for More Information.
Accepted with Deficiencies
This option will send the activity to an end state with the status and resolution of Accepted/Deficiency Found. This option should be selected for:
activities with deficiencies that must be fixed by next year.
activities that result in a Violation Notice.
Prior to selecting this transition, upload any documentation sent to the water supply, like a Corrective Statement letter, via the Files drawer. Violation Notice document should be uploaded to the linked activity.
Processing CCR Certificates of Distribution
1. Navigate to your Saved Search for CCR Certificates of Distribution.
If you need to set up a dashboard, please visit Dashboard for CCRs and CCR Certs.
Select an EGLE Review/Completed activity from your dashboard.
Like the CCR, the Cert. is automatically assigned to the CCR Analyst Workgroup when it comes in for review. Assign the activity to yourself and keep the workgroup assignment as the CCR Analyst Workgroup.
This process will retain the Workgroup which will make tracking process simpler - Please make sure you are retaining the workgroup.
Review the submitted documents via the Files drawer or via the Linked Documents tab.
If the CCR Cert. and related materials are acceptable, select the Accepted/Completed Transition, which will close the activity.
If changes are needed, Transition to Revision Needed, which will assign the activity to the water supply Certifier.
There are a couple options available for communication:
Navigate to the Portal Collaboration tab and edit/add a Task that is assigned to the Certifier.
Send a message via Messages to user to inform them of issues and corrections
Upload a document via the Files drawer, so the water supply can download and review the document from the EGLE Attachments card of he portal.
When the activity is resubmitted by the water supply, the activity status will be EGLE Review.
If the there is an issue with the CCR Certificate of Distribution, transition to Closed/Deficient, which will close the activity and update the status and resolution to Deficient/Deficiency Found.
