Understanding the 14-day Countdown Timer

Understanding the 14-day Countdown Timer

The 14-day countdown timer is a workflow component available for use across all program areas in MiEHDWIS, at this time it is being used in CWS Construction Permit activities. When added to a workflow, it starts from an activity’s Submitted Date and tracks a 14-day review window, ensuring timely permit review.

The timer remains Active while the activity is assigned to EGLE staff.

If more information is needed and the activity is returned to the applicant, the timer will Pause until the activity is resubmitted.

The timer will Stop when the permit has been issued.

Once stopped, the timer will display how many days have elapsed during the review process.
