Online Message Content

Online messages appear when the user is logged into MiEHDWIS - they appear when the user clicks the red circle with a number in it that is attached to their icon image in the upper right corner of the screen. These messages are typically very brief and to the point.

Email Message Content

Email bodies have room for a lot of content, making email notifications the most potentially informative of the 3 types. They will contain the elements that appear in Online and Text Message notifications and will be further elaborated. Email notifications might contain specific guidance to accomplish a thing, recommendations about how to get assistance or who to contact, and other information. Email notifications make more use of links than either the Online or Text messages do.

Text Message Content

Very brief messages, similar to Online notifications. They will be sent to the phone number in the recipient user’s profile - provided (a) it is a cell phone/can receive texts, and (b) they have included Texts as one of their notification options in Preferences.
