Overview

• Beginning January 2026, water supplies no longer create Pumpage and Cross Connection activities via the Create Activity Menu. Instead, EGLE generates the required Pumpage and Cross Connection Annual Report activities, via MiEHDWIS/SDWIS Compliance Schedule Integration, for the water supplies required to complete and submit these reports to EGLE.

• Supplies (Certifiers) will be notified of activity creation and assignment on January 1. Unsubmitted activity notifications/reminders are sent to the supply, for more information on frequency and content of the reminder, check out the Pumapge/Cross Connection Notifications/Reminders.

• The Pumpage and Cross Connection Reports are Dynamic Forms within MiEHDWIS.

• With Release 19, on September 4, 2025, the Annual Report Tracking Access Database Pumpage and Cross Connection tab data was migrated/moved into the new MiEHDWIS Annual Reports tabs, which are available on each water supply entity in MiEHDWIS. Pumpage and Cross Connection data edits must happen in MiEHDWIS (for both historical and future data).
