Activity Naming Convention

With Release 19, EGLE Staff and external users will no longer need to name Activities.

MiEHDWIS will now automatically name all activities based on the naming standards decided upon by the program areas.

EGLE User Impacts

  1. You will no longer have to name every activity created.

The create an activity window for internal users no longer has a space for naming an activity, just Activity Type and Activity Desciption.
Internal Users will no longer need to name an activity.

  1. All Activities will be named in the same way. No matter who creates them (internal or external), or how they are created (bulk processes, created from an existing activity, made by hand). This will improve search capabilities through standardization.

  2. Activity Names are still editable, if changes are needed.

Internal Users can now edit the activity name directly on the Activity Overview page.
