There may be a time when linking activities together is important because they relate to each other and you need an easy way to see everything related to that activity.

As of Release 16, a third relationship type has been added. You can now choose Child, Parent or Related.

  1. Click on the activity you would like to start linking other activities to.

  2. Click on the Links drawer on the right-hand object drawer.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Choose the activity(ies) you wish to link the current activity to.

  5. Then click the Link Type of either Child, Parent or Child Related and click Add.

The Links object drawer represents the relationship between two or more activities based on an “is a…” relationship. When linking, you are choosing in Step 4 the link type for which Step 4 activity is of the current activity’s drawer you are on. See the example below.
